About this page...

Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says that every person in the world has the right for freedom of opinion and information. North Korea has a population of 24.45 million people and the majority do not have access to a computer or technology in general.  They are limited to the information given to them by the government.  Our site is to raise awareness of this issue.  North Korean citizens have the right to view whatever they want.  The overview will give you some basic background information about North Korea and Censorship.  The next four pages will connect some qualities of the issue to literature like Oedipus Rex, Persepolis, Things Fall Apart, and Night.  The last page will be the call to action, and that is where you can find out how to do your part to stop this issue!
